AML Policy

Última actualización: March 25, 2026

This Anti-Money Laundering Policy explains how Learning of Traders identifies customers, monitors activity, and prevents misuse of our platform for financial crime.

1. Purpose

Learning of Traders ("LOT", "we", "us") is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crime. This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy describes the controls we apply when you register, purchase programs, request payouts, or otherwise use our services at learningoftraders.com.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all customers, applicants, payout beneficiaries, and third parties interacting with LOT. It covers: • Account registration and identity verification • Payment acceptance and refund processing • Trading account payouts and withdrawals • Ongoing monitoring of account activity and behavior

3. Regulatory Approach

LOT operates as a proprietary trading evaluation firm providing simulated evaluation and trading programs. We are not a licensed bank or broker-dealer. Nevertheless, we implement risk-based AML measures consistent with industry practice for fintech and prop trading firms, including customer due diligence and suspicious activity review.

4. Customer Identification (KYC)

Before first payout—and when required earlier—we verify your identity using government-issued ID, proof of address, and other documents we reasonably request. You must: • Provide true, current, and complete information • Use payment methods in your own name where applicable • Cooperate with additional verification if risk indicators arise We may refuse or close accounts if verification fails or documents appear fraudulent.

5. Enhanced Due Diligence

We apply enhanced review when: • You are from or associated with high-risk jurisdictions • Transactions are unusual in size, frequency, or pattern • Information is inconsistent across documents or accounts • Law enforcement or sanctions lists indicate a match Enhanced due diligence may include source-of-funds questions, video verification, or extended monitoring periods.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use LOT services to: • Launder proceeds of crime or conceal illicit funds • Finance terrorism or sanctioned persons or entities • Structure payments to evade reporting thresholds • Use stolen cards, compromised wallets, or third-party identities • Misrepresent your identity, residence, or beneficial ownership Violations result in immediate suspension, forfeiture of payouts, and reporting where legally required.

7. Transaction Monitoring

We monitor registrations, purchases, logins, trading patterns, payout requests, and support interactions for red flags, including: • Multiple accounts linked to the same identity or device fingerprint • Rapid chargebacks or payment disputes • Payout requests inconsistent with trading history • Use of anonymizing tools to conceal location where restricted Automated and manual reviews may delay or block payouts pending investigation.

8. Sanctions Screening

We screen customers and related parties against applicable sanctions and watchlists (including OFAC and similar regimes where relevant). Matches or probable matches may result in account freeze, transaction rejection, and mandatory reporting.

9. Record Keeping

We retain KYC documents, transaction records, communications, and investigation notes for periods required by applicable law and internal policy—typically five to seven years after account closure for financial records, unless a longer period is mandated.

10. Reporting

Where we identify suspicious activity, we may file reports with competent authorities without notifying you, as permitted by law. We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory inquiries relating to AML matters.

11. Staff and Training

Personnel with access to customer data or payout decisions receive training on AML obligations, data protection, and escalation procedures. Access to sensitive information is limited on a need-to-know basis.

12. Policy Updates

We may revise this AML Policy to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. The version on this page with the latest "Last updated" date applies. Material changes may be communicated via email or platform notice.
